Where did it go? What happened? Where is my time machine? I wish I could go back, but alas, onward we march. As we say in the fashion world, there is "no going back". We also say something similar in the culinary world, "you can add, but you can't take away". I'm still adding to my summer even though it is technically over! For instance, today I wore WHITE pants! I'm in the process of planning a bbq for Sept 26th! And a beach bon fire in October isn't that far fetched of an idea. Here are a few highlights of my culinarily creative summer.
My biggest accomplishment is perfecting my Grandma's Beef Jerky!! I have her blessing to market our famous family jerky! I'm calling it "Joyce's Jerky" in honor of her. Contact me now and I'll hook you up!

We had fun shopping at theLakers Team Store in Staples Center after they won the Championship! Great deals to be had! GO Lakers!!!

Bridget takes a cruise with us on the Venice Muscle Beach boardwalk. She loved it!

I hosted serveral garage sale/bbqs for Share our Strength the Summer. We raised over $100 and are still going strong. 5% of my Beef Jerky sales are going to Share our Strength.

At least they have cold beer!

Celebrating my birthday with my mom in Palm Springs. Country Club style! We went to the spa, went for morning walks, and fixed spa inspired meals. What a treat!
